Was it luck? Was it skill?

Honestly, more luck than skill without a doubt…

So I posted my first gig on Fiverr. It was for social media management and content creation. Within two weeks I had my first sale of $800 and it’s a subscription so that’s pretty great!

I’m sure this sounds amazing, right? $800 for one client? How can I do this?!

Unfortunately, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. It was a lot of work and I underpriced myself a decent amount but you live and you learn!

Fiverr is Super Cheap, Isn’t it?

Well, it can be without a doubt and a lot of services on there are cheap; however, there are a lot that are well priced too. Way more than I expected. When I first looked into selling on Fiverr a couple of years ago I quickly dismissed the idea to instead pursue Upwork and Freelencer. At the time Fiverr was far behind the other two with the average job costing only $19 while Upwork and Freelancer could have jobs going for $100 an hour or $5,000 for a website (or more) which blew Fiverr out of the water.

Now, in 2022 Fiverr has begun flourishing and driving a lot more sellers and buyers to the website…
