Print on demand (PoD) has been around for quite a while now and you’ve probably bought from a PoD supplier without even realizing it in the past. An example of a PoD supplier is Printful. They’re probably the most well known PoD company there is; however, their prices are high.

What is a PoD Company?

A print-on-demand company is a company that will print things for you as you need them. This means if you have a Shopify store and link it to Printful then every time your store gets a sale Printful will take the blank products, print it, and ship it for you. So the only thing you have to really worry about is managing your store and driving sales.

Why is This Good?

Using a PoD company means you don’t have to pay for any overhead for storage. It also means you don’t have to buy blank shirts, printers, ink, or anything like that. It’s all factored into what the PoD company charges you on a per-shirt basis.
